1. Commitment to Safeguarding
Amaé Harmony is committed to creating a safe, supportive and respectful environment for all children, young people and families.
The wellbeing of every child is always the priority.
2. Approach
Sessions are designed to support emotional wellbeing in a calm, attuned and age-appropriate way.
Care is taken to ensure that children feel safe, heard and respected within each session.
3. Parental Responsibility
Parents and carers remain responsible for their child at all times.
Sessions are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or clinical care.
4. Safeguarding Concerns
If there is ever a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child or individual, Amaé Harmony has a responsibility to take appropriate action.
This may include sharing information with relevant services or professionals in line with safeguarding guidance.
5. Confidentiality
All information shared within sessions is treated with care and respect.
However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where there are safeguarding concerns.
6. Working with Other Professionals
Where appropriate, clients are encouraged to continue working with their GP, school, or other professionals supporting the child or family.
Amaé Harmony does not replace these services but can sit alongside them.
